Want to Volunteer for Us?

Volunteers are valuable to the CRC and the many projects they are involved in.  Some of the areas we need volunteers are....

Proofreading
If you enjoy the idea of making a difference to our community newspaper and have good grammatical and spelling skills then this may be the job for you.  Proof-readers come together every second Tuesday between 1pm and 5pm and read through draft copies of the Lakes Link News before it goes to the final print.  

Driver Reviver
Do you like the idea of making a hot beverage and chatting to people?  Working in pairs, volunteers man the van for two hour time slots over Easter, Queen's Birthday long weekend and prior to Christmas.  You volunteering two hours of your life could save someone else's.

Litter Picks
Not exciting but an opportunity to get outside and stretch the legs, back and arms while enjoying time out with some like minded people.  A great opportunity to tidy up the road verges and town site and keep our 'backyard' tidy while protecting the 'little critters' that live in it.

Green Army
Don't let the enemy take over our town!  Declare war on Caltrop and help us control and eradicate this extremely tough and very nasty weed.
